Tajingdong

Tajingdong ( also known as Vijay ) is a mountain peak in Bangladesh . It is officially recognized as the highest mountain peak in Bangladesh.  It is located in the Saichal Range of Ruma Upazila in the southeastern Bandarban district of Bangladesh. Although the official height of Mount Tajingdong is 1,230 meters (4,035 ft), its actual height is 790 meters.  Previously , Keokradong was believed to be the highest peak in the country, modern research has proven this to be incorrect. Saka Hafong is currently in private research The mountain is claimed to be the highest peak in Bangladesh, but is not yet officially recognized. 

Tajingdong is located in Saichal Parbatsari in Remakri Pangsha Union of Ruma Upazila of Bandarban District , Bangladesh . It is located in Ruma Upazila of Bandarban District, 25 km from Upazila Sadar. There is a tribal village on the side of this mountain. The name of this neighborhood is the new Simplompi neighborhood.

How to go

 Alam, Hanif, Shyamoli and other transport buses go to Bandarban. Rent is 620 taka. 210 taka per person from Bandarban to Thanchi.
